Golfing

Scotland is home to some of the finest golf courses, and has no less than five current courses that are venues for the Open Championship. In the Scottish Borders visitors benefit from the "Freedom of the Fairways" passport, valid between April 1st and October 31st for adults and juniors under seventeen years of age. This offers the following great value packages:

  • 3 day passport: up to 6 rounds of golf over 3 consecutive weekdays (discounts for juniors)
  • 5 day passport: up to 10 rounds of golf over 5 consecutive weekdays (discounts for juniors)

See the Freedom of the Fairways for more details.

For further information on available courses and to book online, please visit the website www.scot-borders.co.uk/golfbreaks or call the Scottish Borders Tourist Board on 0870 608 0404.
